LINCOLN
A Historic City built on a hill, with the skyline
dominated by the Cathedral, dating back to 1072.
Forget the idea that Lincolnshire is flat, try the famous Steep Hill and remember
good walking shoes are recommended if you want to see Lincoln at its best.
|
The Hillcrest Hotel is only a seven minute walk from the Cathedral and the High Street shopping centre.
Visit the Castle, instigated by William the Conqueror in 1068. Don't miss the Prisoner's Chapel and
the Observatory Tower. An experience never to be forgotten.
