The family run Hillcrest Hotel offers you hospitality at its best. Originally built as a Rectory, it has a grandness and tranquillity not often found in the city centre. With most rooms overlooking the Arboretum, a quiet location, a peaceful setting and a good night's sleep will ensure that you awake refreshed ready for another day. Having spent an interesting day in the city, visiting the Cathedral, Castle, Steep Hill & Usher Art Gallery, come & relax and enjoy a wide selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks in the newly refurbished bar or have a meal in the Conservatory Restaurant, offering views over the garden, parkland & City. Bar meals are available should you require a lighter snack. We offer free Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel, so why not check your emails, whilst having a refreshing cup of freshly ground coffee, or a nice cold beer.
All our bedrooms are en-suite, mostly with a shower. For that extra special occasion, why not treat yourself to our Executive bedroom with views directly over the arboretum or our Four Poster room. Our helpful reception staff can arrange champagne, chocolates or flowers for the one you love to await your arrival.
